It currently is very gray and foggy weather here in Sweden, so I have been digging into some older photos for the March 2014 wallpaper to match that mood.
The March 2014 wallpaper was taken in Paris on a very foggy day, the clouds were hanging so low that the top of the Eiffel tower could not be seen. Enjoy!

Today is the 1st of March, so it is time to refresh our wallpapers. I provide you with an alternative here.
The photo features the Paris Wheel near Place de la Concorde in the center of Paris. It was taken in November last year with a Lensbaby Composer Pro, which created the blur effect on the edges. It was a very gray and foggy in Paris with little color in the day, therefore I converted the photo to black and white. It also adds a bit to the drama of the photo.

After the early snow we received in the end of November last year the winter continues on full speed through January here in Stockholm.
This week we received another 30 cm of crispy snow while temperatures are down to -18 degrees Celsius.
It does make for beautiful photography.

About a month earlier than we are used to the first considerable amount of snow covered Stockholm during the last two days. With a temperature of just below zero (C) it makes for a beautiful crisp white blanket covering the city and nature.
It gave me an excellent opportunity to take some early winter landscapes and test the weather durability of the Nikon D600. All photos were taken in or around Hellasgården in the Nacka Reserve Park on the south-east side of Stockholm and just about a stone throw away from my house.

I know, I know… it is spring and almost summer and I am posting autumn photos.
Nevertheless I wanted to share these two edits of the same image. The photo was taken in the east parts of the Netherlands in the Bergher forest (Bergherbos) near the city of Zeddam.
