The September 2013 wallpaper is a photo from a Picotee Cosmos flower.
I took the photo during the summer in the gardens of Rosendals Trägård (Rosendal’s Garden) in Stockholm.
Enjoy it on your desktop for this month!
After the popular July 2012 wallpaper I have chosen yet another photo of a flower for the September 2012 wallpaper (click the image above to view and download!).
The flower is a Hoya Bella, also known as waxplant or porcelain plant. It is part of the Apocynaceae family (subfamily Asclepiadoideae). It originally originates from India, China or Indonesia. The name Hoya is after botanist Thomas Hoya.
I photographed the flower before a black backdrop with only window light.

For the September 2011 wallpaper I have chosen a monotone image displaying a warm paper tone color. The photo was taken during summer a few years back in the center of Stockholm and shows details of a large sail ship.

The photo for the free September 2010 wallpaper was taken near Falkenberg in an area known as Hansagård, as you might recall from my blog post Summer at the west coast of Sweden.
