A B O U T

Born and raised in the Netherlands, I am now a Stockholm (Sweden) based world photographer with a passion for nature and foreign cultures.

At the age of 12 I was introduced to photography by my father, who taught me the basic photography skills on an Agfa cassette camera. In later years, the National Geographic magazine and the World Press Photo image inspired me to focus on world photography.

My photographic intentions are to capture the beauty of the world by photographing the people and the environments they live in. A selection of my best work is displayed here at renetimmermans.com.
